Ok so i know the 5850 was sooooo last year
But it definitely is a great card. I was searching for a card better than the 5770 but would only cost £140 or less. I managed to pick up this 5850 for £140 in the aria superspecials.
The card is quite beefy compared to the 5770 i had in my old rig (That i swapped for a asus G51vx-rx05)
The cooler is pretty much 75% copper
I find that quite awesome tbh, Dont look the best the shroud is pretty plasticy 90mm fan nothing special.
Now forget tests i only just installed bad company 2 but i was playing that and i was quite impressed that it would only go up to 54c But that will change in crysis :/
Completely full graphics 60+FPS 1280x1024 (coz thats how i roll on a 22" screen) and i think im running dx10 im sure it wasn't dx11 but i usually play bad company in dx9 on my 5770.
Also with all the stuff i ordered i got a usb hub :3 Pretty cool as i was gonna get one soon when i could find a decent one, This is a decent one though
