M monkey7 New member Dec 21, 2008 #2 It's not a disaster when you put in both 1800 and 1333 MHz, but as far as I know the 1800 strips will be downclocked to 1333. So if you have them lying around accidentally it is possible, but I wouldn't advise buying the 1800
