Ideas for colour scheme.... ?

Guys,

Just got my switch 810 last week and now it's got me thinking all thoughts.

the case is in black. I have a ASUS P8P67 board which has a fair amount of blue on it. All fans in the case are white.

Looking for colour ideas here. Going to replace cables with pre-braided ones - any suggestions on colour? White??

Also for water cooler... what colour of coolant would you go with on this?

I like the look of the white fans, so not looking to change those.

Well because pre-braided cables rarely come in half white half blue I would go with white. The reason is because you do now want to much blue inside if the case is white. Because of the white case you want majority white and because the MOBO is blue you just want blue accents (hence why half white half blue). Also I would get some the the new corsair fans (af120) as they have removable rings in red white and blue and the blue will accent the case nicely and the black blades will give great contrast.

In which case I would use black cables, and in doing this still get the af120 with the blue ring that way you are bringing out the minor blue details on the motherboard.

What it looks like just now.

Getting some braided cables - getting rid of the two fan controllers in the PCI bracket slots.

Will also be going full watercooling, so will be getting rid of the antec kuhlers.

Looking at that picture I just noticed my CPU fan on the inside of the case is mounted the wrong way round!! HA!

What I would do:

Look for blue RAM heat sinks

Black braided cables

AF120mm fans with the blue ring and SP120 fans for the RAD with blue ring

cover the Antec logo on the coolers

Swap the top exhaust fan and the CPU RAD but keeping the tubes in the position they are in. I think it is ugly when tubes block RAM. and it looks nicer when all the RADS are together.

Paint the bottom two brackets black as well as coloring the yellow and red wire coming out of the black

I would personally go for blue extensions or braiding. Imo it would look much better.

Blue should look OK I think, but black would probably be better.

I'm tempted by the silver/grey bitfenix alchemy extensions. Would go well with the blue on the board, and if you go silver fittings on the loop it'll look quite nice.

Well I've ordered some blue bitfenix alchemy extensions.

Next I think I'll get some corsair AF/SP fans.

For the coolant or tubing I'd go with black or clear, if you went with blue it would be too much
