Ideal Temps

Hi everyone

I recently got my water cooling up and running. I am using a EK Supreme HF water Block for a simple single loop, XSPC 120 Rad and XSPC X20 750 dual RES PUMP.

On idle (with default BIOS settings) my core temps are around the 29-32 mark...

My core speed in shifting (as it would normally) since I have not altered any settings on BIOS. But normally it would either be 1.5MHz+- (x16) or 3.4MHz+- (x34-35) depending on load. Core voltage 1.056V

Are these readings normal? Should I be concerned?

On a side note, what would be an ideal OC for my Processor. I am thinking of OC it to 4GHz stable (without it going up and down).

It all depends on the silicon lottery as to what your chip can do. It is recommended not to go over 1.38v for a 24/7 oc. Most 2500K will get upto 4.5 without any probs. Just keep an eye on the volts, the more volts the higher the temps.
