Idea on new fan design

Hi guys,

I've been wondering lately, let's say a 120mm fan has a 35mm deadzone and looses another 5mm on the outside.

What if you would let the blades go all the way to the middle where there is a 3mm axle ?

You could than make the fan spin by putting little magnets in the blade tips and solenoids in the lost area on the side, wouldn't you loose a lot of noice and gain fan surface? (eventhough it doesn't spin fast near the center but still)

The only issue i came up with is that all that magnetism isn't good for your pc components, but every electric engine causes emr..

If you guys think this could work, i might make a cad drawing and get it 3d printed somewhere.

It would have the same rpm in the middle as on the outside, it looks slower rpm on the outside than the inside due to the larger orbit or something.

Looked into solenoids last year for some reason or another and from what i remember they arent very efficient, possably why? or its just easyer to whack the motor in the middle/cheaper to make?
