IC Diamond 24 Carat

Hello all

Looking to try a new Thermal Compound, Anybody tried this IC Diamond 7/24 carat gear? I've been using AS 5 for a few years now so was looking for a change.

Appreciate any info.

supposed to be good stuff from what I have heard. Never tried it myself as I love my Ceramique IMHO its better than the noctua stuff that came with my d-14. I used the noctua stuff on my 560Ti when I first got it but recently I tried the Ceramique on it and it dropped my temps from 44c idle and 85load to 36idle 75load its also a good for sub zero applications

I've always used AS5. The price is reasonable. In my eyes, the other pastes that are extortionate for the few 'c' it drops.

a 14gram tube (yeah its huge) of Ceramique is like 8$ USD and a 3.5gram tube of AS5 is 12$USD plus AS5 is reputed to be conductive where Ceramique isnt

the tube is huge and it is full of the best TIM i have ever used. well worth the money

I got a couple of tubes free for testing and its great stuff! Its pretty thick though so you have to warm it up before spreading it. Best way is to put the syringe into a seal-able bag and warm it up in a cup of warm water.
