Running Prime 95 right now, on blend with 8 threads.

Core speed: 4000.03 Mhz

Multiplier: x21

Bus speed: 190.5 Mhz

QPI Link: 3428.9 Mhz

Core Voltage: 1.256 V

IOH and ICH are set at 1.2v

Vdimm: 1.63

PLL CPU: 1.88

QPI: 1.35

Temperature Readings via CORETEMP:

Core 0: 68

Core 1: 66

Core 2: 67

Core 3: 64

Under full load. Those temps are the "high" values reported via CoreTemp.

Most people run 20x200 so they can get their RAM to 1600MHz or 2000MHz.

But knowing you can get to 4GHz stable is good

Temps seem good.

Roughly what was the room temp?

Id say about 16-17 degrees.

I might go change up the multi to get the ram up to speed. The mobo was running the ram at 1066. I need to get some new modules, come on ridgeback redline!

thats pretty cool, Wish temps in Australia could be that cool lol

By the way The multiplier doesn't change the RAM speed, the bus speed is what affects the RAM speed.

Whats your ram meant to be at stock?

Ram is a 1600 mhz stock.

I have the DRAM freq and UCLK set to auto.

I changed my BCLK and multiplier to 200 and 20, ram is showing up at 1603 or so Mhz.

You have to set them manually mate

200 x 20

dram 1600

uclk 3200

once that is stable do

200 x 20

dram 2000

uclk 4000

(uclk needs to be 2x the memory speed)

with 2000mem and 4000 uclk you will probs need 1.5 to 1.55v on the qpi

Yeah I figured Id have to manually set those, wasnt sure, still getting my head around the bios. I'll check on those later.

Quick question, when I pick up some new memory modules of higher quality that what I am running should I reset my memory settings in the bios or should I be good to start with what I currently have running?

You need to set them up properly mate.

Another quick question, I seem to notice that my system will stutter slightly when playing games, it will be smooth and then a quick stutter and back to smooth.

Possible causes?

I noticed it after I changed my RAM settings from auto to manual inputs.

Running it off a 7200 RPM drive, the 460 gtx was not OC'd when I ran it.

I was playing torchlight on max settings, didnt think that would be terribly taxing.

It will be ram timings dude. post up the bclk the uclk the ram speed and the ram timings (anything that you have set)
