ok so i have my i7 920 overclocked to 3.4ghz and i am cooling it with a zalman 9700. i get really good temps. i havent seen it go over 35c. so my question is how much more you think i can go with it and not burn it up. like when they computer is just in windows and i am using the internet and stuff it doesnt go over 28c.

is 35 degree's when your running a stress test thats at 100% load? what programs are u using? what stepping is your i7?

oh ok. wat program you suggest i use to get the temps of the cores. cpuz? that 35c was from games. but i havent done a stress test yet. wat should i use to stress test it?

thanks for the help by the way guys.

intel burn test for speedy tests, real temp and core temp for temps are good, check the temps in ur biod and when u start ur pc and it goes to idle open core temp and real temp and see what one is closest to your bios and thats the one u should use

Not really, stick it in water Gav

I can be a spelling Nazi too! :D Just kidding. The Titan Fenrir looks like an ace cooler if your Zalman can't keep up, but the 9700 certainly looks the part so should be ok, just make sure you have good airflow
