Hi all,
I'm a streamer currently writing down a few specs for a custom game streaming desktop, and I'm unsure to go with the i7 8700k or the Ryzen 2700x, for the most part the GPU will be handling the bulk of the workload with processing the game and recording, however I will be using the CPU to stream. Now this leaves me unsure if the higher overclock speeds of the 8700k at around 4.5/4.6ghz or the Ryzen at around 4/4.1 but with two more cores will produce better results. The stream will be at 1080p 60fps.
If anyone streams or has knowledge on this and could enlighten me to which one would be better?
I've watched the videos, done the research and they both look very close in terms of performance. The only draw backs to the Ryzen seem to be some performance issues that some people have had with adobe for video editing and some bio issues, has anyone on here dealt with such issues?
And if you've read that and are willing to help you have my thanks sir.
