waiting confirmation!

Looking good but u cant just run the stress test setting start up real bench and keep your little fingers off of the check mark boxes and run 5 tests. Look at your cpu usage it only went to 49 percent,do what i said and then screen shot it and this time use HWINFO so i can see temps and cpu speed. Make sure u read what i just typed u are new to this so its important u do exactly how i say,it also helps me because i know what u have tried

Hwinfo doesnt open i dunno why, these are the only things available and i have started the realbench run and i havent checked the stress test, its doing allt he image editing and stuff and 5 runs to go

Maybe u got a bad download for hwinfo,if it passes these 5 runs drop the cpu voltage down to 1.25 see what happens

with the programs u have not really,it should say in AI suite here is a screenie from mine. I recommend uninstalling HWINFO and reinstalling it or get it working properly to keep an eye on overclocking this is very important!

ok 5 tests done, no crashes, freezes or blue screens, but the scores were really low, it came only upto 137 and it took 40 minutes for each test to run and ai suite did'nt go anywhere above 803, i snapped a screen shot in the middle but i dunno why it's not coming up so i could'nt get a screen shot sorry , but temp the highest it went was 39

It's definitely not turboing up to 4.2GHz then. Even though the CPUZ screenshot says it has saved the multiplier in the BIOS. I really don't know what could be stopping it. Did you ever run it un-overclocked?

Yes i did one, but not real bench but OCCTbut it stiall said the same shiz, i have no idea what to do, i dont even know what speed my computer is running at

Yep its definitely not turboing up

Do you have turbo mode enabled in your bios?

Yup its on, and should i disable speed step?

Im just waiting with my bios open throw settings at me and ill set em and does c states have to do anything at all? Its currently at auto

On the bios it says target cpu turbo-mode speed is it supposed to say just target cpu speed?
