i7 4770k overclocking problem!

Listen to what i tell u or i wont help! Too much voltage can cause stability issues also

Also post a screenshot of HWINFO so i can see whats goin on

Ok I'm really sorry to do this, I wanna do this now but can't can we do this tomorrow? Its 2 am here I know its like 7pm where u are but I gotta go, I've set the vcore to 1.27 any final thing u wanna say?
 
ok i got up today, started the test and went to class and came back to this, so no crashes or blue screens

so what next? and how would i know that i did actually overclock my comp, coz cpu-z always shows 800MHz
 
Drop your cpu volts down to 1.26 and run it again run at least 5 passes of real bench and this time have hwinfo running at the same time. Also scroll it down so i can see cpu speed on hwinfo. These processors downclock to 800 to save energy when not working that is what u are seeing. In fact start up hwinfo right now and screen shot it for me make sure u scroll down further or take 2 screen shots
 
this is hwmonitor, hwinfo wont open while loading it goes upto checking intel management and then, when i open task manager it says not responding! :/ and im going down to 1.26 now anything else?
 
Well make sure hwmonitor is running wihile u have the test going,it will show u max and min processor speed and max and min temp keep an eye on these

Just a thought, if it crashes at Intel management engine have you installed all the chipset drivers? This could also be what is stopping the turbo working. Just a thought.
 
no i even tried coretemp and the motherboard's software ai suite 3 and also the cpu-z oc version, everything is the same!
 
nope,i am apparently the noob who owns 2 animation diplomas and a diploma in computer applications, i installed the first driver cd i got with the motherboard and then i only updated the bios and usb driver, i dunno about chipset
