Earlier: Okay, 1.5 hrs OCCT @ 4GHz, temps (max): 70, 75, 76, 73. Still quite high. Might just leave it on 4GHz until I've got it sorted.
Couple days later: So, got the new fans on the radiator and man oh man they are quiet! I heard these strange sounds from outside...turned out to be birds. Who knew!
Also got the new TIM on the CPU. Idle temps (not turbo speed) now sit at around 26-31 C (22 C room temp) and 30 mins of OCCT @ 4 GHz put it at 72, 77, 78, 76 C (listed per core), vcore 1.34 which I think is too high. So temps haven't changed much. What do you all think? I think it's the voltage for sure which I haven't changed yet (tonight was about smoothing out the TIM rather than an OC attempt). So, could do with some advice for come weekend. I want 4.4 GHz minimum, 4.6 would be nicer.
