sorry to say, but that processor is not unlocked.
only the "K" and "X" prefixed parts (3570K, 3770K, 3960x) are able to overclock.
you can overdrive your processor a fractional bit. by increasing the bus clock
from 100 to X depending on RAM and GPU. increasing the bus speed affects those
items and can cause instability more so than CPU instability.
but for multiplier change, not that version. only BLCK bus can be altered and only a bit.

the 3820 can overclock as well!

nah but in general you are right, a friend of mine tried to overclock his locked first generation i5 cpu, he ended up frying his ram.
also i don't see how TTL could have inspired this, i doubt he would put a locked cpu in there.
