Right decide to move my test bench in to a case as a friend did an offer for this rig.

Im havings second toughts as i think i have a well binned chip and may hit the silicon lottery.

The specs:

MSI P67A-GD53 B3
Intel i5 2500K @ 4.5Ghz
6GB Corsair XMS3 @ 1600Mhz
Thermaltake Frio Cpu Cooler Push/Pull

At the moment its @ 4.5Ghz on 1.250v all i did was up the multi and vcore.

The temps:

Iddle - 28-27-30-31

Load - Highest core 60c with only 2 runs of 30 min prime 95

Should i be happy with temps?

Thanks in advance

72c is the maximum rated thermal temp for the 2500k, you are well under.

I would encode a movie with your new clocks to test for full stability, i encode a lot with my 2500k at 4500mhz, but the CPU gets hotter under encoding conditions than with P95 or OCCT.

That is a nice voltage if it remains stable by the way :)
