Was bored tonight so thought I would shoot something rather strange that happens to me on css. I will let you watch the video before going any further... (fraps records at 30fps, its not my pc :crazy: )

Well as you can see in the OC3D match server I can jump perfectly well but when it comes to the public I just cant do it. Are the boxes slightly higher on public to prevent this from happening or is it just I cant do it

Right, few pointers now ive atch watched the vid.

1. Its all about timing the crouch right on there.

2. learn to use the autobuys/numbers for buying your weapons

2. Dude, shrink the crosshair

I was the one who originally tried getting him to jump on those boxes as it's a lethal spot imo. It was a laugh seeing him attempt it for 3 rounds without any success! :rollingla :rollingla

I can jump up on the boxes in match and pub easily, maybe because I am a ninja and am light on my feet , but still, it should be possible for all non-ninjas....

I've just watched Hyper on both servers and he's not doing anything different. The only explination I have is rates :eh:

Yea I think thats what it is, I just went on a different server and can get up no problem.

I'm afraid i have no problems on the public either. I often change my rates around too when pubbing it (66,80,100).

Maybe that big old deagle was weighing you down

The only possible explination i can give is that some of the more advanced options on the server such as accelleration, friction etc are different on the servers and you just havn't got used to performing that jump on the pubs config.
