Hi, im running a MSI KT6V-SR (MS-7021) board with a athlon xp 2600+ and 2x 512 mb ddr400 ram they are both corsair but not sure of what model ect. and I was running a fx5200u agp graphics card i had these all oc'ed quite well cpu was running at 2.8ghz and the graphics card was also oc'ed but cant remember what to lol and the ram timings where at 2.5 3 3 7 and where at a 1:1 ratio
BUT i just got a 6200 256mb agp card for a couple of pounds from ebay brand new but when i put it in it wouldnt boot at all just black screen so i reset the cmos and all was good untill i went to adjust the ram timings again in the bios ive got the cpu back upto where it was but when ever i adjust the timings now during the bootup it finishes counting the ram and says its ok but just before it posts up what drives are in it just freezes ???? ive tried reseting the cmos again and also tried putting old card back in all with same results ??
at the moment my ram is running at 3 3 3 8 and at a ratio of 6:5 and its quite noticable that its not running like what it was anyone got any ideas?? would flashing the mobo do any good??
