I Just Removed The IHS From My P4....

hi everyone..

it looked like i slightly scraped some of the coating off some of the traces...

i installed it in this computer and i am running prime 95 and surfing the net with it right now...

am i to assume that i did not damage it? or might something show up later?

Yeah you should be fine providing you didn't gouge a chunk out of the PCB.

TBH even if you did it wouldn't surprise me if it still worked. I've knocked all manner of things off motherboards and pulled pins off CPU's and they've still worked.
