I guess this is an introduction

Well, here I am, I'm really new to the custom pc environment as well as overclocking. I have no real experiance, but I want to learn. I'm sorry if I make basic mistakes, again, I'm new and know very little about how pcs work and I want to learn.

As a person, I'm usually quite reserved, I enjoy writing and random thought. I hope to become better at building pcs (I've built 1 thus far and I've upgraded a box) so, I have a lot to learn.
 
Hi and welcome to the OC3D forums
This is a great place to learn , there are alot of members here that are willing to help.
How much computer knowledge do you have? Have you ever upgraded or added components to a system?
Find a topic and start a thread , ask questions, we will help if we can.
 
I have plenty of basic knowledge, I've upgraded systems, I've also built one new system from parts (Which I am unfortunately, having some troubles with) I know how to spec out a system well, and know how to build a custom pc (Not nearly as well as many, but well enough for now)
 
Thanks, I kinda like the size of this community, it seems like there's not a huge overload of users, which is nice.
 
Welcome and im sure you will learn lots here at OC3D, I defiantly helped me!! :D

we got loads of new people each day, but for some reason most of them are never heard of again after the introduction. well, who knows how many of them are just observing and too shy to write.
i hope you are one of those few who stay and stay active :) after a week or two you know the "staff' of the community :D
 
Maybe our "OC3D Elite" "OC3D Crew" titles make them scared to post because they think we will yell at them? Only person who will openly yell at you is TTL if he thinks you deserve it, other than that we are all pretty relaxed and helpful:)

well maybe we will crown someone retard of the month but that will only happen if you put rice in your loop :D
i guess if one just monitors for a week one should notice that we are a very newb friendly community and help everyone out. well, besides of course if you try to cook your 590 to screw a company.

maybe the IGN pc build or the CIT PSU/Vibox story.
