I gots a good question

Back in the day 3dmark01 was more sensitive to FSB speed than overall MHZ. Since then I haven't really touched the FSB on my current rig because my ram sucks and bosds when i overclock the bus => 10 mhz more. Is F@H more sensitive to FSB like 3dmark or will I get the same results from just changing the multiplier?

This mushkin has been the worst ram I have ever owned (overclocking wise)and based on that alone im rather worried about throwing more volts at it.

Suggestions?

Now edays a high BCLK is better(faster)

Mushkin EM3-10666 9-9-9-24 1.5v 2x2gb

My mobo sets the ram at 1333 1.6v by itself but I turned it down to 1066 to get better timings.

I haven't tried to bring the timings back to 9-9-9+24 yet though

I find pure CPU MHz helps Folding more. FSB/BCLK does improve things but not enough to stress over it you're struggling to push it higher. Also, usually lower MHz and tighter timings proves just as fast for FSB/BCLK.

I changed a few things around and ran a 4mb hyper pi and 20minutes of folding and it didn't crash. Let's hope it stays this fast!
