What do you think would be the maximum overclock with the e6600 and a gigabyte motherboard or is it down to trial and error.

L llwyd New member May 13, 2007 #22 Well it depends on the motherboard model and the exact revision of your CPU, every batch of CPUs out of the factory can differ from the last. Although i would expect you to be able to exceed 3Ghz on it comfortably, maybe 3.5 .
