No. All IPS panels run at 60Hz. This means anything above 60 fps is a waste of GPU power since you're limited by your monitor's refresh rate.

i believe he's referring to people who claim that your eyes only see 18fps or something like that

What would you use one for, yes I know you should be able to get a top overclock out of one but that goes hand in hand with gaming.

Hate to break it to you dude but you've got it all mixed up. Ask any MSI official or more specifically Dennis on OCN and they'll tell you the black and yellow theme is marketed at extreme overclockers. There's a reason they have a Gaming line. :tongue:

How does overclocking go hand in hand with gaming?

I also know the pro benchers are interested in the lightning but having said that there is no one here who is going to put 1.7v through one using exotic cooling.

So that leaves gaming.

Well, you're looking in the wrong places then. This is not an extreme overclocking forum.

It's the other way round really - there are gamers who are interested in the LNG.
