HR-03GT in stock in UK!

i notice that a lot of people are going on about using this cooler for the 8800gt,but so far i cant see the need,as mine idles at the same temp as my 7600gt used to 43c idle and 55c load

At load these things get 80 - 90 degrees, some higher, if you are saying yours gets 50degrees load with a stock cooler I wouldnt believe you.

He's not lying.. Mine does the same.. With the overclock in my sig it hits 60 degrees tops with fan at about 60% - 70%

50s degrees normally but may have peaked at 60 when i've lowered fan speed to 60% or so.

mmm, i was slightly wrong with the idle temp as its 45 not 43,but as you can see so farhave had no problems with heat on my 8800gt,all this may change by the time i have got it clocked almost to death of course:)

IDLE

LOAD

Thats actually pretty interesting, im gunna go test my temps (havent actually done it yet *gulp!*)

Altho im guessing its pretty loud with the fan at like 60%??

HR-03GT is silent ;)

Really nice temps there :o. Maybe I'll be keeping the stock cooler...

Your case is a 900 right? Do you have any fans pointing at the card at all?

only the one from the psu,due to bad placing of sata ports I cant use the top pcie slot with this card, which is a shame as the side panel fan blows directly on to it,which is where my smaller 7600gt sat just fine

Guys how long were u running em for??

I ran for 10mins, under 35% which is my usual level since I dont like noise, i got 78degrees.

Under 60%, I got 68degrees.

Na 60% is fine.. Case fans are louder.. When ya crank it up to 75% ya can hear it and at 100% its quite loud but if you've got a headset then it doesn't really matter if you only crank it up for games as ya wont here it.

about 8 mins mins then it a delta and restarted the counter so I lowered the clocks to what was in those pics and took the screenies at about 3 mins in so overall about 11 - 12 mins.

60% at 68 degrees isn't terrible is it... They can take much more heat and at 60% don't suppose it was very loud?

Mine was about 72degrees at 60%, its very good I thoguht mine got hotter, tehn again i usually run mine at 35% where it gets close to 80 odd.

Very happy with my chip tho, managed to get it to 750core 1950memory and 1800shader on about 70 degrees, it can go higher but I havent got time atm, cant wait to bios voltmod and put on water :D
