How to tell if my psu is on its way out

Hey guys ill get straight to the point I think my PSU is dying as before I built my new rig I kept on getting lag patches and sometimes hangs but then my rig started working ok again but anyway I've recently upgraded and the only parts I still use form my old rig is my OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SSD and my Corsair AX 750 my new rig has been working fine until a couple of days ago where everything I do down to just moving an internet window around my screen I see little lag patches again although not as bad as it was in my old rig its still persists. I ran OCCT to test the PSU I only left it for 20 minutes and it seemed fine but is there anything that I have to look out for my +5V was under 5V and my -5V Was over 5V although my -12V Was under 12V and I didn't see my +12V Anywhere Any help diagnosing if my PSU Needs an RMA would be really appreciate Thanks guys

I doubt a PSU would cause 'lag' fella.

i had the same issues before my OCZ ssd failed twice... before i binned it and got a samsung 840.

no lag just nice running.

Ahem. This is more likely to be causing the issue. Chances are you have a damaged windows install.

Thanks for all the replies it is much appreciated as for the psu I though it was a bit. Strange it didn't sound to me like a psu could cause lag either I was just going on what I found around Google looks like I'm gonna have to buy a nes sad then to be honest I've been meaning to get a bigger one anyway any suggestions I have been looking at the Samsung 840 what is your take on them remember300?

i got it cos it was on offer and needed a reliable brand, so for the 120Gb version i have had no issues,

If money allows it maybe go for their better range or maybe look at corsairs too, if i had the funds i would of gone for that but im deffo not annoyed at going for samsung
