How to show 4gb

Hey guys, my friend has Vista Ultimate X64bit and 4 gigz of Corsair DDR2 667 Valueselect

3455mb of ram is showing in windows. Iv tried looking around but cant find out what to enable/disable in bios/windows to show 4 gigz

Help would be appreciated!
