How to remove, clean, reapply paste, reapply cooler?

Hey guys

I think my 8800gt could do with a resinking. How do I removed the cooler, will articlean clean the goop off, anything else i need other than artic cooling mx-2 (thermal pads?), anything special to keep in mind when reapply cooler?

Perhaps I should invest in a third party cooler (ideas?) I am thinking of getting a new fully fledged air rig soon based on quiet and cool so i bet stock should go

Hitting stupid temps atm and its damn noisy (with any 3d apps) - Will be able to fold again without it screaming in pain

Arctic Cooling's Accelero S1 is a pretty decent air GPU cooler.

I've currectly got an Akasa Vortex Neo attached to my 8800GT which pretty effective and quiet. Obviously not as quiet as a passive cooler but seems to be a few quid cheaper on most sites.
