How much radiator do I need?

I've already got my CPU being cooled by a 80mm thick 240 rad - no problems there.

Here's my dilemma:

I'm looking to add a pair of watercooled 980's to the loop but only have the space in the case for a 2nd 240 rad that's also 80mm thick.

Will a single 80mm thick 240 rad be enough to keep a pair of 980's under 70C?

Id make a single loop to keep things tidy as long as your pump is ok, the GPU's will be fine on that size rad. Youll probably get temps around 50 tbh (gpu's love water)

Just remember to build it so it looks good and quiet then I wont laugh at you :p

Yeah should be fine. Gigabyte got one 980 running on a crap 120mm AIO, so yeah. It should be fine.

Thanks guys for the feedback! No worries Tom, it's gonna be a nicely done build. I'm thinking I'll put together a small project log and get it up once I've got all the parts ready to go. Should be fun!!!

The golden rule is one 120mm rad per block plus one extra. So if you have room for two 240s, then by using them both you get to run your fans nice and slowly which keeps everything cool and quiet. Keep the loop nice and simple, have everything piped up using the shortest runs you can, and you'll have a great system.

Plus, multiple rads look cool as fcuk.
