equk New member Aug 23, 2007 #8 I got the ram to PC2-8000 speeds with the same voltage (it came up on bootup as PC2-8500 Dual Channel Interleaved tho) I just can't seem to get it to work at PC2-8000 with the cpu at 3.2ghz works fine at PC2-6400 cas4 tho Think it's something to do with the mobo

Mr. Smith New member Aug 23, 2007 #9 You can acheive 1000mhz at 2.6ghz but not 1000mhz at 3.2ghz... Is the ram stable at 2.6 - memtest, orthos ram stress etc? More juice to the memory controller ftw

equk New member Aug 23, 2007 #10 I tried putting the mem to 2.2 and 2.25 volts but it didn't make any difference but with the cpu at 2.66 it boots up fine PC2-8000 cas5 (2.1v). Seems a bit strange I only gave it a quick test in super_pi just to see if it booted ok etc. The only difference is the divider so it should be ok. It doesn't even POST with the cpu at 3.2ghz tho
