How loud?

Am soon going to go phase change and will proberly go for the Mach 2 GT. My main concern tough is the noise level, Having never heard one of these units I have no idea what to expect.

What component on the Mach makes the most noise? ie the Fan or compressor, If its the fan then can this be adjusted and at what loss in temps?

The fans are more noisy than the compressor at full whack, if you have never owned one or heard one in operation you will most probably be surprised byhow quiet they are! Although I was expecting some noise close to my workshop compressor!

The fans are fully adjustable in the Control Centre - I only had them on full for benching purposes...

As long as your ambient is reasonable, you can turn the fans down to a level where the unit is pretty quiet, an even balance of compressor and fan noise, for the temps it is very quiet, you should be pleasently surprised.
