Okay everyone.
I’ve finally got my sig working and it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be so I thought I’d get some feedback on how dumb I am.
First I searched the forum and found the link to the how-to. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/?nav=IMAGES
So I copied and pasted, substituted my name for the one there, but I couldn’t get it to show my profile. Then I found a link one of the threads
http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/sigs/sigimage.php?un=ShortAlieN&t=98860
So I tried this, substituting my own name PCTwin and it still wouldn’t work.
Then I noticed that in the guide they were using a number to represent the user instead of the team. Where do I get this number from? Time to investigate.
I went to the extreme overclocking folding stats page and looked up our team, 98860. From there I clicked on team user list and found my user name on the list. Now, when I click on my name, it opens my personal stats page and in the URL in the address bar is my individual user no.
Now I copy this number and substitute this for the name in the hyperlink, there’s 2 instances of the name in the hyperlink I had to change, and viola! It works.
