it was too long to put in the title but my problem is that windows 'safely remove hardware and eject media' sees my SSD (boot drive), and my old HDD(storage drive, i just added it) in there and its annoying because i always safely eject my usb drives, but i don't want to make a mistake one day and eject my os drive or something like that.

I just wanted to asked how to fix this, or if all of you have this and its normal (but i don't think it is because it wasn't like that on my laptop.)

Thanks guys

I am not sure of this, but doesn't safely remove function just quit transfers and other actions to the USB so that removing it isn't gonna mess something up?

So.. Safely removing your OS drive would either just quit some apps, or quit whole windows and you would have to restart?

Not sure, gotta google to see if it's correct

I'm fairly certain you won't be able to eject your OS drive. I think it will give an error when you try to do so.

If you safely remove a device with a USB drive the OS no longer sees it.

Has it done this since you installed Windows?

i haven't yet ejected anything i didn't mean to, so no nothing has happened yet.

As for usb's yes i've ejected them and as u said basically the os doesn't see them anymore

i just wanted it to go away and not show my hard drives
