Hooking up speakers?

How would i hook up speakers with this type of end

to my computer? I got the pic from google so thats not exactly what my cables look like. Mine are i think red a black?

There may be some type of adapter, but in all convenience you can't. Those are for home stereo and entertainment speakers.

All the wires that come with the Logitech Z-5500 's that go to the speakers are like that but then they lead to the amp which then goes into the back of my pc.

Wanna try powering non-powered speakers with your sound card? Go for it

You'd need a reciever or amp man... which can get pricey if you want quality.

A battery powered amp, are you serious? noooo... Get a real home audio amp and hook it up via digital coax or an optical cable.

Have done, was fine.

Amp would be a better idea though.
