Ohh....Gotta watch out for the big bad spiders.....LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't be so harsh, my man. It's a simple option that we don't have to toggle while making a game much more appealing for other people who do toggle it. So welcome to the world of possibilitiesWelcome to the pussified western world.

Same with RGB: Don't like it? Don't buy it or turn it off.
Arachnophobia is real and not pathetic. It this update means people with arachnophobia can now play when they previously would not be able to then that's great. Why would that be considered pathetic. It's just another accessibility option which has no negative effects.
So just because YOU don't have an issue whilst playing, it's not a real issue? Please! Don't be so closed minded.
Maybe you don't suffer to the same degree as others. The Ex-partner could not watch me play a game with spiders in it, or would not be able to watch films with them in - she was genuinely terrified of them.
I know Xenomorphs aren't real. Doesn't mean I don't still have nightmares about them from when I was a kid.
Everyone is different.
If the update helps others and doesn't do any harm to anyone else, there's literally no negative. It's really silly to be so judgemental over something so trivial as a game update.
Considering the movies and books talk and show spiders, it's a wonder people who have this issue even are interested in such a franchise.
Given the out of control world we have with genders, pronouns,Karens, etc I wouldnt be surprised if I saw a protest saying that "hogwarts school is biased" and needs to be recoded.
Afterall... we do have people saying that maths is racist now and that 2+2 might actually be 5, if it wanted to be...
I do think though that this update is trying to cater for the youth, and the timid. Games that have the option to turn blood effects on or off have existed for years, so why not have something like this?

Say what now![]()
Just a quick excerpt from: https://www.seattletimes.com/I was not joking. Google it and you will see stupidity at its best. Warning*** it may reduce your current IQ.
So I hope it was just a misunderstandingIt’s not that the formulas and equations taught in current math classes are racist, Castro-Gill said — it’s about how they’re used in daily life.
“Nowhere in this document says that math is inherently racist,” she said. “It’s how math is used as a tool for oppression.”
Nah I think it's completely valid. As a society we're becoming less resilient purely because we encourage avoiding any kind of discomfort. The more we coddle society, the more we set them up for failure. The real world won't hold their hand so the more people that become responsible for themselves, the better. Plus we're talking about pixels, not even real spiders. It's not like it's a complete surprise for there to be a giant spider.Don't be so harsh, my man. Here is the brief extract from an interview. Ok I know its fox, but still...this silly excuse of a woman literally believes maths itself is racist. Not the social construct etc.
