I thought since I am new here I would get to know some more of you guys.

So.... what is(are) your hobby(-y+ies) outside of this forum?

My hobby is rock climbing. I do it about 3 times a week. It is freaking awesome. I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already.
 
Hey man,

I'm into martial arts, kung fu and judo mainly.

I recently went rock climbing - I'm afraid of heights but once I figured out I was safe I got over that and it rocks lol :rocker:

I also like a bit of swimming/cycling, reading (currently Orewell 1984), drinking, partying, givin the misses a good seeing to, OC'n/pc's/games/technology- obviously :)

I like seeing live music, also seem pretty much every decent DJ in my time, cars... Er... Food!

I think variety is the spice of life :D
 
erm..

music (playing, listening), drinking (if my liver could talk it wd be screaming nooooooooooooooooooooo)

sports (football, squash, badminton, anything really)

love rock climbing but dont get to go as much as id like.

and mr.smith, 1984 is amazing. i wrote my A level coursework on it, got an A :D if you get really bored and wanna see 1984 in a new light, gimme a shout.
 
Sport, when I have time. Especially Football. Pretty darn good at Badminton and swimming too and like golf and tennis

PC's (obviously) inc gaming (and console gaming)

Seeing my mates, gaming, chilling, drinking beer etc

Cars (if I have time and money). Used to be addicted to sweet car audio before the PC bug bit.

And of course my loving fiancee :p

Never read 1984, bit of a scifi book reader, or fantasy. Mostly because that's what was around the house.

Ohhh, and I forgot bowling (even though I am not that great) and movies. Not really into drinking too much. Well, I mean I like to do it, it's just that I can't really drink beer. I hate the taste. So I usually end up with some sissy drink, or something hard. Which reminds me, the g/f is fun too.

What kind of books do you read? (everyone) Name some of your fav's.

Books, mmm I have never been much of a book worm.. Well, still only 16.. but I do love a good tech mag! ;)

The Beach, The Bourne Identity, Harry Potters (admit it, they rock), 1984, The Handmaid's Tale, Day of the Triffids

probs more if i cd remember

Also, Wheel of Time series

Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy series

Ender's Game and its series

Lord of the Rings series

Dune, although haven't read many in the series

Issacc Asimov books are good too (I Robot)

Some Graphic Novels, like The Walking Dead, and V for Vendetta

OH, and I am reading steven king's Dark Tower series now

No way, or maybe I am just used to more long winded books, but the HP books seemed like a total breeze through. Tolkien's books were more wordy.
