Have you checked if it is actually completely stable at that speed? As far as I know, the default speed for that card is 650Mhz core and 900Mhz mem. Try running 3DMark at the default speed and then at some (at first) slightly increased settings. That way you can measure if things are getting better :)

Also, what settings are you playing at? What resolution?

If you are in dx10 your gpu simply isn't powerful enough. Reduce settings to high or lower resolution etc.

This is a fair point. We have had Crysis cripple our 8800GTX SLI and TRISli rigs on larger resolutions. A 9600GT whilst a good card, won't run the game smoothly at full detail on higher resolutions.

If the card is clocked too much, you'll also experience a reduction in performance. :)

yes mostlikely, it isnt stable at that speed, and it will have a adverse effect in performance, try to back it down a few notches and see if it helps, if not It might be the card "limit"....

Whoa thats crazy, i always thought that with tri SLI you could run Crysis at the highest, i guess not when those resolutions get up there. Its just that crazy of a game and so ahead of its time lol.

Makes me wonder what kinda of system they designed it on then lol.
