hl2 not deleted

well today i just built my new computer and i totally reformatted the hard drive, and the whole steam directory is still the the hole 4.5gb, and looks like i wont have to install hl2 again , but you wouldve thought it would have been deleted

you obviously didnt "totally reformat the hard drive" did you.

i think it was installed on a partition that you didn't format
