high temps MSI 1080 Gaming X

ok so i recently traded my 1080 FE in which OC'D too 2100mhz boost 5505 memory with 100% fan topped out at 80c but my gaming x with OC mode and the default fan from gaming app gets to 80-82c with fan at 100% however i can keep it at 70c even overclocked to 2125mhz boost and 5400 memory. i have the corsair 200r clear side panel case with all fan slots filled with corsair af120 fans 3 in 3 out. i have even tried to take my side panel off which yielded no change with temps. idle temps 36c load 80-82c. im just concerned since the reviewers got much lower temps with lower fan speed

Do you have any idea how hot your room is? Summer is kicking in now so a higher ambient temp could be increasing the GPU temps.

Are you increasing the volts when overclocking? What are the temps like at idle and stock clocks?

my room is around 70 ambient and no im not touching voltage. and with stock idle is 36c load 80c with the stock fan profile from msi gaming app. at 100% it stays at around 65c stock

So the 80 degree load temps happen when you overclock the GPU?

well i get up to 81c at the stock OC mode within MSI gaming app with stock fan profile i have to up fan to 100% to even keep the card under 70c

when i overclock and keep the fan at 100% from 60c on it tops out at 75c
