I am looking into f@h, i've downloaded the 7.1.38 x64 client and am wondering if i have set it up correctly as all it seems to do is make my fans spin up and not much more lol

if anyone could show me the way forward, i would be grateful

My rig is as follows:

AMD Phenom II x4 955

ASUS M4A79TD

ASUS HD4890 1Gb DRR5

4x2Gb Corsair XMS3 DRR3

NorthQ Flex 850 PSU

3x 1Tb Samsung F1

Stock AMD cooler

Tom beat us all to it. As he has pointed out, use theTracker and it's pretty much plug and play.

I'd set it up as SMP and leave the GPU disabled for now as AMD/ATi GPUs slow down the CPU too much (until the new Client is out).

Ya we really need the new client, having my 5870 sat doing bugger all instead of 9k ppd is a p*** take

i need it folding alongside the X6 without it stealing any cpu time.
