Hi guys,

My name is Neil from sunny Devon

been a long time watcher of OC3D videos and Facebook page and decided to sign up to learn how I can put together my first custom rig

Currently own a Acer Aspire L3600, which is a small pc (AMD processor) but has been very good over the years.

I now want to look at building my 1st custom pc.

The proposed new pc will not be a gaming rig but will be used as a design rig for my architectural profession but I might try gaming on the pc as I currently use my XBOX on-line gaming

I hope to get some great ideas from other similar members who have built a custom pc for CAD and Sketchup designing

i'm down in Cornwall at uni. the whole south west is such a lovely part of the world. Every time i drive down i feel so lucky to live and study right by the sea.

I do agree with you EddWills95 South West is a great part of the world but it is lacking in some things.

Where you studying in Cornwall BTW? I worked on some of the Falmouth Uni buildings

I'm technically at the University of Exeter, but its a second campus for them.
And they share it with the University of Falmouth
BUT - its in penryn. Very strange ;p
