Hi all.

I have been watching Tom's reviews on YouTube and decided I would join this forum. My last PC "Philips freeline LS 1300" has sadly come to an end....so now its time to try and build myself a new one, never done anything like this before so hopefully it doesn't blow up lol. been using Pc's since windows 95, changed a few hard drives/optical drives over the years but that's about the height of it.

Anyway here is the PC I am planning to build (any help or advice on it would be greatly appreciated)

Haf x (already bought)

Asus P8P67 Deluxe B3 rev.(already bought)

Corsair HX850W PSU (already bought)

LG Bluray Drive (already bought)

Windows 7 (already bought)

i7 2600k (thinking of buying)

Corsair Ballistics 8GB Memory (thinking of buying)

Asus Silent night 2 CPU cooler (thinking of buying)

for graphics Card, I haven't decided yet...but thinking some sort of ATI 2GB Card.

Anyway that's it, unless I have left something out? Regarding the Motherboard, I bought this 2 weeks ago but now I think I may have jumped ahead and made a bad choice as the Z68 has come out, also I read some reviews about the Asus deluxe having voltage issues with crashing and not booting up properly etc: hopefully that is only relating to people who are manually overclocking? I don't intend to do this just yet, until I do some research on the issue.

Anyway guys cheers for looking, hopefully I can be of some help somewhere along the line.

Cheers.

What's your budget?

Hi,

My budget is around £1.100, I forgot to add a SSD and HD to the list that I needed to buy. I have a remaining budget of £600 so hopefully I can get the remaining parts needed within that price. hoping the CPU and graphics go down in price somewhat.

cheers.
