Hi,

Just joined seems to be a decent forum you have here hope to be able to glean some info on overclocking my E6600 further than it is at the moment (3.6Ghz on 1.4vcore) a little bit flaky but am worried about putting too much voltage through it what is acceptable for B2 stepping E6600. Clocked it back to 3.3Ghz to keep it stable at 1.4v

Welcome to the forums, post up your spec and settings in the correct part of the forum and I bet someone will be able to help you push it further :p

Hi All

Hi,

Thanks for the kind words guys here are my specs I am at 3.3Ghz at the moment with 1.4V going through cpu any higher and I get instability I really dont know how much voltage is safe to put through cpu to get stability I was a long time AMD fan but got hooked on C2D ability to overclock like crazy without having to install dc optimiser and ms hotfixes just to get my 4800+ s939 to behave itself so I sold up and went over to the dark side (Intel) and I have been truly amazed at how good C2D is even an old E6600 performs SOOO much better than anything AMD has at the moment anyway enough waffling here are my specs hope someone can point me in the right direction to overclock the backside of this little monster!!! lol
