Hey Everybody,
I'm Callum, I was very active in Computer Hardware and Modding a few years back, I knew everything about hardware, what was the latest and greatest and knew what went well that would push the boundaries of performance, Back in 2008 I built a killer machine,
Intel Q9450
4GB Corsair DHX1333
Asus Striker 2 Extreme
1200watt Toughpower PSU
2x Asus Geforce 9800GX2
Mozart TX Case
Times changed and I sort of dropped off the scene, RC Helicopters and Girls took over
But, with the recent cooling issue I have (55c idle @ 1v vcore) and generally the machine itself, It's sparked my interest back in again. Oh boy has things changed!, £80 for 8GB of DDR3 1600!!! I paid something like £300 for just 4GB 1333 DDR3!
So, over the next few months I look to upgrading a few things, Starting with a new HAF X Case and not sure on the cooling yet. I look forward to making this my home on advice and progress...
The first thing I know I want to get is the HAF X Case.. So that will be ordered in the next day or so.
