hello peeps just joined, i like rebuilding pc`s mainly my own heres my current specs of my pc:

Intel Core i3 4170 @ 3.70GHz (soon to be i5)
Haswell 22nm Technology

4.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 (9-9-9-24) (soon to be 8gb)

thank you, had this setup for a while lost interest in it a while ago but now starting to get back into it :) either going z97 or skylake just not sure yet whether skylake is worth it :(
 
if you are going to upgrade go skylake as it's benefits are more than z97 eg more pcie lanes on some motherboards etc

i would love to go skylake it is quite pricey, but then again i was doing some pricing and its going to cost me near enough the same to move to skylake as it would to go to z97 so might be worth going skylake for slight difference in price, but atm i was just going to concentrate on gpu, ram and new case as my define s looks really empty without the custom watercooling that i cant afford yet lol
