hey guys!!!! im new here and have a dilemma

What i'm saying is the hd5770 isn't that much slower than a hd4890 but it uses half the power therefore the OP is lees likely to need to buy another psu.

eg. hd5770 = £120

hd4890 +psu =£165

Therefore the hd5770 has the best bang for buck as OP already owns a psu and a very nice system.

id still steer clear of dx11 cards that arent the 5850 and up really arent any benefit over the 4800 series, except power consumption

Yeah but that power consumption, if in the future the PSU was upgraded, could be used to overlock the 5770, which run pretty cool as far as gfx cards go, to better than that of a 4800 easily. And when overclockers.co.uk are selling an Asus 5770 with the voltage tweak that Tom loves so much at only £120, it suddenly looks like a bit of a bargain from where I'm sitting. Slap a couple in crossfire and the performance beats that of a 5850 for the same price!
