Hi guys,

My friend has been having problems with his computer. It has a EVGA 770 (2GB) card in it and the card has been sent off and fixed due to problems in the past. Apparently it has started having issues again. First of all it stopped being able to detect the second monitor, and then started freezing up the PC and the only way to get out of it was is to restart. It crashes randomly, he doesn't have to be in a game or anything.

Before this happened he was getting a blue screen that said 'Bad pool header' .. Dont know if any of this information is helpful but we are both puzzled. Suggestions?

His computer works fine when the graphics card is not in it.

Without seeing a error report we're kind of in the dark, but "bad pool header" could well be referring to the Vram Caching pool on the card.

As Excalabur50 stated RMA time and you do want to insist on replacement not repair.
