If I buy some braided cable extensions, can i plug them directly into my corsair ax760i psu. Or do i have to use them as just extensions?

I'm pretty sure you will only be able to use them as extensions however i know that corsair have released some braided cables for their specific psu's so you might want to check them out.

you can buy extensions for any power supply, but for braided cable replacements
sorry to say, but at this time, there are no released cables (braided or otherwise)
available for the AX760i/860i power supplies. they are a totally different cable arrangement
than the AX750/760/850/860 (non-i series). you'll prolly fry something as the pinout
may be different from those series. know that the 24-pin is different unless the set is
designated as AX760i or AX860i do not buy them. PERIOD.

dudes just using peripherial power cables from the HX kit..

the HX doesnt have indie 24-pin, so those are extensions for the i-series
24-pin cable.

and the OP is describing AX760i not the 1200i...

i suppose you could try sleeving your current cables. as i understand from looking through posts on this forum it is relatively simple but time consuming. im tempted to try it myself tbh
