Then your problem is somewhere around the RAM and CPU. You tried to reseat the RAM right?

if so, it's probably time to reseat the CPU.

any luck? have you tried to reseat the CPU yet? if after all that and it doesnt work you may want to think about getting a new one.

I have been FANTASTIC!....ly stupid lol went to reseat the cpu nothing changed over to my old board(crappy packard one) just to make sure it wasn't a parts malfunction and while taking off the backplate to swap over the cooler noticed that the backplate was just touching 2 of the pins that was shorting out the cpu....note for anyone intrested packard build their boards inhouse around whatever coolers they have to hand lol as the pins outline the backplate i'm guessin so you can't change over plates. grrr so yeh my silver arrow is now on order(didn't want to rder it for another 2 weeks to spread out the cost but hell i want my sabertooth installed already so might aswell go the whole hog and just finish everything off at once since ram arriving soon then the builds finished!!! for 3 months till it's out of date lol
