Well, in a nutshell what you need to do is enter your BIOS and find the area that allows you to increase the processors FSB (Front side bus). Slowly increase that at around 5mhz at a time and each time boot into Windows.

Once your machine stops booting into windows (either it will BSOD or restart), increase the voltage given to the processor (vcore) by a small increment (most BIOS's do 0.0125v) - this should provide more stability for your overclock, allowing you to boot into windows again.

Once you have gotten to an overclock you feel is acceptable, try playing some game or run Prime95 to test for full stability. If either crash, increase the voltage again to obtain further stability.

You shouldn't really increase your vcore voltage past 1.5v if you are on air cooling - and be sure to keep an eye on your temperatures. Anything under 55oc when under load should be ok.

initially i wont overclock far just in case ;)

im going to overclock as far as possible later on when it starts to become obsolete
