Help with my cosmos 2 build please

After I watched Tom's CKC build it gave me a few ideas for how I'd build my own water cooling loop in my Cosmos II.

Here's the part where I need help. Initialy I was planning on a 240 rad in the roof but saw that Tom had some how managed to fit a 360 rad in there. Obviously the roof supports 3 120mm fans, but bolting fans to a radiator with the control panel cover covering the majority of the last fan I thought this was impossible, and still believe it to be so.

I just rewatched the CKC build log and, unless I blanked out and missed something, he never explains how he got the fans bolted to the 360mm radiator. Does anyone here know how Tom managed it? I can't for the life of me figure it out.

It's likely staring me in the face but any help would be appreciated.

hello,

i've got a 360mm rad in the roof of my cosmos 2. it does fit with 3 fans in place.
you have to lift up the front panel to get it in and screw the fan into place but it is quite simple.
All you do is remove the 2 screws holding the front panel in place lift it out, you do not need to remove the wires from the front i/o connections, just have it sat on top of the case. You will now have all the access you need to get the rad and 3 fans in place.

After its all fitted in put the front panel back in place and put the 2 screws of the front panel back in.

hope this helps:):)

like I said, it was staring me in the face XD

I've already started preping and isntalled the fans in the roof. Knowing this before hand would have made installing that third fan SO much easier.

Out of curiosity what rad are you using. I currently got an H70 and even that is pushing up against the 8 pin power connector.

the rad in mine is a xspc rs 360. It is 35mm thick. Just got an alphacool 360 that is 60mm thick, will be fitting this when i next change the coolant, so should be good

60mm thick rad will fit? The H70 is 48mm. Then the Black Ice GTX 360mm should be no problem for me

in the vids tom was fiddling with push/pull with fans outside and rad/fans inside. the 35mm
rad and 25mm fan gives you 60mm with fans still outside. but hed the warnig of motherboard interferene as with MOSFET and RAM heatsinks..
