Hey guys a customer has just returned a system i put together for her around 1 year ago. It has been used in her kitchen all this time and 2 days ago she went to power it on and there was a loud bang (as she described it). Then she left it unplugged and came back to it several hours later and it wont turn on. Just an orange light on the power button.

I initially thought it must be a blown psu but would the light on the power button be lit up if the psu had blown???

Any ideas would be great before i have to go ahead and order a new barebone system/replacement psu.

Thanks

Could be a blown capacitor or resistor on motherboard or even a memory module, really need to open it up and check. If its used in a kitchen there may have been a build up of grease that caused it. I know its not very helpful advise for you tho, sorry lol... Good luck.
