Help With Crossfire

, I HAVE A 4870 AND A 4850 , WHEN RUNNING THE 4870 I HAVE NO PROBLEMS , WHEN I ENABLE CROSSFIRE THAY CRASH AS SOON AS THE GAME STARTS , AND ONLY HIGH END GAMES LIKE CRYSIS , DIRT , GRID , HALF-LIFE , ALL THE GOOD ONES , ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOME .............THANK YOU , :wavey:

WITH OR WITH OUT THEM OVERCLOCKED I GET SAME REZULTS? :nono:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz 1333Mhz CPU @ 4.1Ghz

Intel DX48BT2 X48 Socket 775 Extreme Series (1600fsb)

4GB (4x1GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333MHz @ 1600Mhz

Visiontek Radeon HD 4870 512MB and a 4850 512MB (oc'd)

Ultra 750w X2 Power Supply/120mm Titanium UV Side

Your cards have to be the same, I believe you have to have the same GPU in there, so either a 4850 and another, or two 4870s.

Seems you've wasted your money on getting two different GPUs, try RMAing one.. and say it was intended for CrossFire but didn't know it wouldn't work.. and put a bit more cash in and then get another 4870
